The Psychologist’s Daughter

The Psychologist’s Daughter explores glaring discrepancies in one man’s professional and personal lives and the consequences of these extremes on his family. Although he was a psychologist, revered among academic and professional peers, the John Redman that Fleur knew at home was a painful enigma−cruel and explosive, distant but protective. Could Fleur ever have a true relationship with her father or be certain of his love for her?

About the author

Shaped by hardship, Fleur C. Boal built resilience from childhood through to her adult years. Her chosen career in the caring profession was motivated by conflict in her upbringing and initiated a desire to facilitate positive change in others. Likewise, The Psychologist’s Daughter was written to help readers find healing and hope through personal restoration. Fleur and her husband have raised four children in Regional Victoria, three of whom are now independent adults. Today, she works and resides with her husband and youngest child in a residential hostel for high-school-aged students in the Eastern Highlands province of Papua New Guinea, enabling their parents’ work in assisting people living in remote parts of Papua New Guinea.

Fleur C. Boal
